Wednesday Night... July 3rd

got off of work at 8:30p like usual... so tired!!! worked on costumes for about half an hour until annie came! yay Annie!!! and *_* she does have perfect dancer legs... hee heee... okie! so we drive over to LB Westin to do early registration, so that on friday we wouldn't have to waste time picking up badges... luckily there was no traffic on the way there... and we were in and out of the westing in less than 20 minutes! =D arrived back at my house... and cosplay work happened all night >_< helped Annie w/ Hitomi's scarf and i worked on Kago's shorts... painting Kago's flower prints for the skirt, then Sora... O_O yep... no sleep the entire night! and it was non-stop working. we watched "Wing Chun" (one of my fave movies) while working too! so it wasn't too bad... just super tiring >_<

Thursday Morning... July 4th

yep... still awake!!! Dad woke up at 6a to go play tennis with his friends... called Annie and me crazy for staying up the entire night to sew... so i called him crazy for waking up at 6a to play tennis hee hee... then Mom woke up up at 7a w/my grandma... then Bro woke up... and started to baabekyuu! O_O at 7:30a!!! crazy! kept working... then Annie went to rest her eyes... and fell asleep! i kept working for another half hour... then decided that i should take a nap. Annie woke me up around 11a, >_< i couldn't move... but i finally got up and finished throwing everything in plastic bags... and then we threw everything into Annie's car O_O so much stuff! and left my house. we stopped by a Target to get Annie some film... and i bought my cute new Advantex camera w/film! it's the cutest thing ^__^ wai wai! I finally have a camera!

then Annie got a call from Henry telling us he was at LAX and wondering where we were... <_< we didn't even know what time he was suppoed to be there! we we go back to my house to get directions to LAX and to decided that... i would drive ahead to AX and drop off all our stuff and check-in... and Annie would go to LAX to pick up Henry. Then we'd meet back at my house to drive to AX together... so we loaded all the stuff into my car @_@ and Annie left for LAX. then my mom had a brilliant idea of having Annie pick up Henry... and Bro would drop me off at AX so that Annie would just drive from LAX straight to AX. *nods* so since i was home again, my dad saw me and asked why i didn't leave and my mom told him the situation, and he made me eat some bbq before i could leave. then finally... bro and i left for AX!

so... Bro is driving me to AX... but i need to make a quick stop at Joannes. i buy the tassels and an extra 5 yds of trim (i already bought 5 yds for her earlier) for Sora, bracelet beads, plastic bands and Heat n Bond for Kago's skirt prints. so then bro and i get in the car and head over to AX!

Wayne-sama calls and tells me to buy food! luckily i already have water... but no food! so bro and i stop by the nearest Ranch 99 to get foodies supplies *_* and a good thing i did too! we ate them the entire weekend =D and i got nice healthy food too! 6 bananas, shredded squid, 2 boxes of pocky, banana chips, strawberry wafers, and a 6 pack of chrysanthm tea drinks. i also originally had the 6 bottles of water! so luckily, our room was set for snacking needs =D bro and i then headed over immedietly to the Long Beach!

it's probably somewhere around 2p... and i do our room check-in... it was a choice between a non-smoking one king sized bedroom... or smoking 2 queen-sized bedroom... since there were 3 of us... we got the smoking room... and icky, it was pretty icky, but the two beds were totally worth it!

so we get a porter to help load all the stuff from my car onto the cart and i walk up to the room w/him. very lucky since we got to take the special elevator and didn't have to wait! wai! hee hee... and from here on... is when i stay in my room the entire expo ^^;;;

first thing we do is organize and put all our things away! hee hee... i had so much stuff due to sora and kago, that i took up 2 full drawers! annie and wayne each had one ^_^;;; and stuffed all the food into the drawer with the phone book! hee hee... then, it was work work work from there! ... ( well maybe besides me making some semi-mean cracks at henry ^^;;; gomen gomen! i was so delirious by then i was mean! )... i don't even know how the time flew... but i know that i was sewing and painting things for Kago-chan! i made Kago's bracelets... painted one, and beaded the other two. i also painted the flower prints that i wanted for Wayne's Tsunku shorts! then... karaoke contest came! Morning Coffee! off to the Renaissance hotel to go compete! while waiting we practice Chu! Natsu Party choreography! Doug (Wushu Team) saw me and said hi... of course him and his friend both asked if we were singing a song from Love Hina LOL!!!

O_O at the feedback we were getting for MC >_< i was really worried about it affecting the judges scores for us... then we went to eat at Rock Bottom across the street! we even got seats as soon as we got there since everyone wanted to sit outside to see fireworks! lucky! Pasuta! gah i love pasta!!! Wayne and I split a fetticini alfredo... phew! so much garlic! but so yummy! *_* then back off to the room to change into normal clothes... then go to Tiff's room at the Westin to practice and sing CNP!

the best thing was... in the elevator to Tiff's room... Tiff was holding this huge box... and saying how she was such a "wide load" and when exiting the elevator... this guy told us "Congradulations!" of course we were all thinking... o.O ( congrats on tiff being a wide load? ) so Tiff asked "what for?" and then he told us that we made it into Semi-Finals for karaoke contest!!! happy!!! that meant that we really needed to practice Chu! which we did! when we got there, Ashley was pinning gold trim onto Allie and we sang and danced! lots of practicing! finally... around midnight... Kie and i wanted to head back to the Hyatt... <_< but where was Henry?

we checked Henry's room across from Tiff's... and i just saw CJ in the bed sleeping... then it was really scary because his eyes popped open! and Henry wasn't there =( so Kie and i walked back to the Hyatt together singing loudly The Peace, Chu! Natsu Party, and Morning Coffee! so much fun! hee hee... i bet everyone was looking at us, but it was really fun singing ^.^

then back to my room to take a shower, heat n bond the flowers onto the front panel, then sew the tubing into Kago-chan's skirt. then... sleep sometime really really late @_@

Friday... July 5th

weeeeee! i woke up i forgot... and basically worked finishing sewing the tubing into Kago-chan's skirt! Henry was king enough to buy Annie and me sandwiches *_* then it was back and forth to Kie's room. first to paint the 333's on my shorts! after that was going back to the room to get Wayne's Tsunku shirt to paint the 333's and the male symbol on his tank top =D i just know i was so disoriented by then from lack of sleep and nutrition that i got on the elevator from the 5th floor to go to the 3rd floor and hit the 5 button and stood there. then people were like "Um... we're on the 5th floor" O_O so i totally got embarassed and got out of the elevator and hit the down button! ^_^;;; gah!

when i was all done with the painting, i made it back to my room to blow-dry the 333's dry, then ironed them to make it flat =D ^_^;;; little did i know that they weren't totally dry... and i got the male symbol ironed onto the iron board <_< hehehehehehe

i finished heat-n-bonding the flowers onto Wayne's Tsunku shorts... so wai! Wayne's costume was 100% complete! now if only Kago's skirt was so simply ^_^;;; from then on, it was all of Kago's ruffles that had to be finished O_O gaaaaah... those took forever... i am so happy that Annie was there to help me. Wayne started gathering the ruffles, but then had to leave... but Annie helped me sew on half of Kago's ruffles onto the skirt while i was making them!!! *_* after handsewing like a mad-woman 5 ruffles onto the skirt... it was 5:40p about, so i had to start getting ready for the karaoke contest!!! i started changing into Ai and did make-up... while Annie finished handsewing the rest of the ruffles onto my skirt... then finally *_* it was finished. i got into full Kago gear and left with Annie to find out where the karaoke contest was!

yay! i found Tiff and she was so cute! she did stop by earlier as Rika, but that's when i wasn't nearly finished! ^^;;; so we took a few pictures outside, then hurried over to the convention center to meet with Wayne and then Kie and helped Kie stick the flowers onto her skirt. then we took mucho pictures! so cute!!! hee hee... we took lots of piccies =D and then we finally got to perform CNP!!! it was so fun! the only problem was that the stage wasn't very secure, so whenever we jumped, the mics would move and create an echo noise, so we didn't jump very much ^_^; But all in all, the performance went really well! i had to keep grabbing the microphone to sing into it, but i heard that was alright because then you could hear me better whenever i did so... phew! good good! yay!

right after our performance, we left for the Hyatt to change into Peace costumes... i went with Tiff to the Westin so she could pick up something for Kaori, but it wasn't there O_O so we headed back to the Hyatt to change. and one of the valet guys talked to us =D he asked us about the "concert" (meaning masquerade) that was going on Saturday, and then told us that he was taking his kids there tomorrow =D hee hee. finally made it to the Hyatt to change. then got a call from Wayne, telling us we made it to finals and that we needed to get back there now. so we called Kie and told her we needed to leave. O_O as soon as we got there... we looked over the lyrics once... and had to go on! >_< we all know the entire song really well... i know all the lyrics... but the dividing thing <_<... i've never heard the full karaoke version O_O and doing the dance with a corded-microphone is very difficult. it's ok though... all we wanted to do was perform Chu! and luckily... we got 3rd place group!!! super cool =D then it was off back to the hotel... to change into normal clothes... and work on Sora for me ^_^;;;

now that Kago was finished... just Sora... and O_O at me working the entire night... i finally fell asleep on the floor at about 6:30a... woke up... realized i needed to work like a mad-woman! which i did... until i was yawning so much that i couldn't see past all the tears that kept coming... so i crawled into bed with Matto-kun to sleep another half-hour... then it was back to waking up, panicking about my costume, and working on cutting out pieces for Sora... then fell asleep with pins in my hand on the floor into a little ball. ^_^; Annie said she woke up and saw me on the floor in a little ball ^^;;; then i woke up again... and sewed like a mad-woman!!!

Saturday... July 6th

yep... so here i am... still sewing. still pinning. gah how pinning takes forever -_-;;; then i realized. OMG i ran out of gold trim. i had 10 yds gold trim. eeeeeeek. i only needed to put about another yard on too. that and some touch-ups and i'd be finished! anyways, we went to craftsmanship judging. i looked horrible... wearing my glasses, retainers, boogie pop shirt... hee hee but it was time to go! annie and i waited for Kie and Lily, but decided to head over so we wouldn't miss it... and luckily got there on time.

i was shoooooooooooe tired i was falling asreep on the floor!!! z___Z yep! in the judging room!!! i just remembered as soon as it was my turn to "show-off" my bag full of costume... i just pulled out the bow first! then i pulled out the rest of the obi... then the purple layer... then the red layer... then i was about to unfold and show off the creme layer when they said it was alright since i had like a million yrds of fabric laying out in front of them ^^;;; hee hee... i just know that they had "lots of applique" written down! ^^;;; if that's the word! i'm really bad w/ sewing terms! i just make stuff =D

ou... now it was 2:10p... and we headed over to the mandatory masq meeting! hee hee... when they called "AGSMA" we all stood up and saluted "AIIIIIIN!" hee hee... blanked out when they were calling numbers... but we were gorup 51!!! of course totally offended since they said they put the "hot" groups in the front... hey! we have Kelly in our group! and Kelly's hot!!! Rey Rey can vouch for that!

after that was back to the room... and researched and called the nearest Joannes... and found out... booooooo!!! it closed down... the closest one was like 15 minutes away!!! so we drove there... stopped by a Ralph's to get aspirin, various supplies, and cough drops for Matto... then stopped by In n Out... yummy... we munched on fries on our way back!

finally returned back... annie dropped me off so i could shower... and do my touch ups... while she parked... and i finished my 7 min shower before she got back to the room O_O i even started on my touch ups! then i got semi-ready... i looked really funny... wearing nylons, CNP 333's shorts, bikini top, and red kimoni robe on top... oh! w/ my 6" glitter shoes! ^^;;; hehehehee... plus i was wearing my wig so i wouldn't forget it, and carrying a huge bag of fabric!

we made it to the dressing rooms... and since we were group 51... i decided to take my time getting ready, and finish touch ups. then when i was all finished... i tied myself into my costume... all of the cords hold it together... finished my make up, put on the wig, attached the ears... then attempted to glue on the fake nails... hee hee... then i was all put together in my immobile glory! XD i looked scary!!! sooooo doll-like! everyone was already rehearsing... Wayne, Kelly, Annie, Henry, Matto, Kie, and Lily... yay! but luckily my part was easy! stand there and sing! ouuu and look =_= the entire time! which was easy with my freaky make up!

i'm so glad matto was in our group =D we had lots of mullet jokes! ^^;;; hehehehehehehe and he attached my ear crooked at one point... so we said Folken was with Sora because he had a mullet and she had a crooked ear! ee heee... but besides that!!!

^^; our skit was soooo sad! hee hee, even tiff said she was going to cry when she was watching us rehearse! and that was before i was rehearsing! i thought it looked even sadded w/me in it, since i was grieving over Folken's dead body! super sad skit!

we waited for our turn to line up, then watched the skits... finally, we went up... and a few things were off... the worse was just the beginning... right before they told us to go up, the guy told us our cue a 2nd time... "they'll start the music when you two (points to neko twins) stand up"... the announcer didn't even announce our skit O_O just started the music while all 3 of us were still kneeling... (was fixing her obi) @__@ that threw us off a bit... but luckily were able to pick up! after our skit, we left stage and went out to get our belongings downstairs and came back up to take a few pictures! then 20 minutes O_O judging was finished! i know! super fast judging! and surprisingly and happily... AGSMA got a Judge's Award!

we attempted to have a giant ACP picture on stage, but they were kicking us out of the theatre... shoe we all had to leave. we took some pictures outside... lots of pictures outside! @__@ at flashes... lots of pictures!

hee hee a fun part was when Lily, Kie, and I were being "interviewed" on how awesome our costumes were and how they must have taken forever ^^;;; hee hee... the best part was when i hit my ear and it came off! ^^;;; my right one wasn't attached too well... hee hee... but that was over and done... we made our way back to the hotel, and i changed out of Sora... i wanted to take more pictures, but my obi was falling and i needed to re-tie the entire thing... but i was so tired by then i just wanted to crash...

i did go downstairs w/Wayne and the twins to take pictures of casual Dilandu and of Eriya and Naria! and O_O since this was the first time i was downstairs at the con... i saw Maryanne and Ken! and i saw Kira! and i ran into Fiona! hee hee wow! i was so excited! i was prisoned up in my room the entire con i never got to socialize! but yay! i did that night! super happy!

then i blank out... i can't remember! i remember saying Kira's shirt looked like braille... ouuu... and i ran after Jean... talked to her for a little bit, went back to the room... got visited by Rey and Jean... took care of Rey... drunk! bad bad! we let him sleep a bit in our room, and when he woke Wayne and I escorted him to Dean's room to sleep there!

then back to the room... and some reason i remember falling asleep then... and didn't remember anything else... z____Z

anyone ever notice how evil "days go by" is? yep... the song by dirty vegas! great song... i love this song... but... o_o the lyrics are very evil... "days go by and still i think of you..."

okie! but i should get down to my RECCA-con log yes? ^^ okie!!! *points down* warning! long long LONG entry ^^;;;

Friday! i wake up at like at 9:30a... and finished packing a few things... like toiletries... and so... i did that... then ate a little breakfast! waited for annie to come over since we planned to ride to ONT together! annie arrived... *shakes a fist at evil traffic* and we left to ONT! which we made right on time... and ??they confiscated stuff from me... AGAIN! evil airports! i had my swiss victorian card... you know... so that i always have my mini 3" scissors w/ me... and they took the scissors, and the letter opener. they were looking at me as though i was going to bomb the whole airport. and the guy kept saying "we can't allow you to bring on the scissors or the KNIFE on the airplane. you'd have to check it in with your bag."

they wanted to confiscate the entire card... since the whole thing was such a dangerous object! so funny since i actually bought it ON AN AIRPLANE when i was flying to italy back in 99... ha ha! stupid airports. i'm being evil and sort of hoping that someone just walks in with a chainsaw... ??and says they're a hairdresser or something! grrr... 2nd pair of scissors lost to them. whorebags. i couldn't cut my thread or ribbon on the plane... so no handsewing for me! booooo. plus the lady who's at the place to give you your boarding number was a total whore to annie. we should have gotten her name and reported her as being a rude bitch. because she was. anyways, ONT airport sucks ass! so no one fly there! sure... shorter lines, but mean people as opposed to other airports i've been in.

oh. plus at ONT... they said they were "on time" but i guess "on time" to them means boarding people on your flight when the flight is supposed to leave. we had a 20 minute delay because of that.

arrive at OAK airport... and search for gary... call him up... and annie says, "does that girl look familiar to you?" me, "i don't know... but she shouldn't be wearing that outfit." LOL anyways... then we recognized her to be that Doritos girl! lol at all the security guards checking her out! gary finally picks us up! *huggies gari-ojisan* so nice of him to pick us up! then he takes us to the Stoneridge mall... omg... that heavenly-evil mall!!! we ate lunch with gary... who was so sweet to pay for lunch *hugs again*... and then leaves to go to work for 2 hours. two girls. two hours in a mall. i need to buy my nacchi earring and ring... so we look at a map.

... again, i repeat the following: two girls. two hours in a mall. there is a sephora nearby.

ha ha ha! we ended spending 45 minutes in there! and it would have been more if we didn't remember having to buy my nacchi earring! back to sephora though... annie got this sweet sweet brush set! and they had a wall with 50% off sephora make up stuff ;_; i ended in buying _only_ a wide-tooth comb... since they didn't have foundation in my color! ;___; it would have been only $11... grrr... and they had this hair clip that was $12... but would have went perfectly with morning coffee outfits! *dies* but $12! i'm not rich ^^; anyways! so we leave sephora... and visit all the wonderful stores on the way... Hollister, Banana Republic, Macy's, Nordstrom's, Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, WaldenBooks, Steve Madden's... finally made it to claire's accessories... and was reminded not to ever have more than one daughter. ew. pre-teen girls in an accessory store. bought nylons at nordstroms! and o_o at their purses. and O_O at annie wanting to buy that $100+ purse! hee hee... finally met up with gary! but stopped by the See's Candies so i could get my dose of sugar ^^ *pouts* gary was joking with this couple about how i'm a sugar crazy person ^_^;;; soooooooo we head over to pittsburg, cali! to visit the college since we don't know where the ramada in is at ^^;;;

go to the college... and =O my phone rings. wow. it's mike. very surprised he called me. we talk for a bit... then gary finds someone to take us to the ramada! so annie and i go to the ramada and rest! we get get comfy and unpack and chillax for the time being. i get scissors from the front desk to finish something on jade pjs... grr though since scissors totally suck! they didn't even cut through thread o_o. gary goes to the college... and then tiff comes! yay! then kie comes! double yay! then jon, wayne, wayne, and bran come! yay yay! gary shows up again and we eat dinner actually... we ate at lyons... and my meal was yummy... i had chicken fajitas... i thought that it had 3 tortillas... but o_o only gave me two... was still yummy and got me nice and full. annie's food looked really good... and >_< cause tiff's and wayne-sama's dinners were bleh O_O get back to room... ramada 214 and rehearse singing... hee hee lots of momosu... and yay to dancing! kie is super cool cause she knows lots of dances! all is yay! we sleep not too late... don't remember actually, but i shower and put on jade pjs and we sleep!

saturday! wow! all that text above just for friday! so we wake up saturday morning around 9:30a... i run to get everyone breakfast =D cereal, waffles, juice, milk, and other random things... i don't remember! but make it back to the room... take piccies in jade PJs hee hee... then i put on shoes and go jogging with wayne to joannes! wayne-sama's card only had $0.13 on it! LOL! i bought my glue gun and sticks... yay only $2.75 ^.^ and get back to the room... to find that yugioh is a repeat. oh well. it's ok. soooo wayne changes into squall... and i change into chii! yay at my new wig! LOL because it look totally long on me since i am shoe short! ^.^ it was a bit hot since it's black stretch vinyl... but luckily the college is very shaded! we arrive around 12:45p... and o__o at me holding a cosplay panel at 12:00p with rey rey! o___o rey rey for cosplay panel? and at 12p? it would have been nice to know... but no biggie! we walk around and waiii! we got to see cute sara in her cute hikaru costume! she showed us her Mini Moni camera/compact/phone set! soooo cute!!! i can't wait to see her Mini Moni group! it will be so cute!

ah! back to the convention... hmmm so we walked around... gah this is long... O_O i found they had para para there... we wayne-sama and i were led by j_kub to go visit the game room... and >_o it smelled bad ^_^; no ventilation... but i really wanted to play... so i finally did... i haven't played in forever... and yuck! it wasn't an arcade machine... i'm spoiled and all... so i was hitting the censors wrong... blah... so i left and couldn't find wayne... but i had to get out of there... then wandered around asking where wayne was... and visited the dealer's room! ^_^;;; they let me in even though i didn't have my badge with me... wayne was wearing it ^^;;; but i guess since i was in Chii, they let me in. there wasn't much for me to be interested... BUT! the best booth was the video/dvd booth! *_* of course all my attention was drawn to the giant stack of DVDs all starring or co-starring Donnie Yen! gah he is sooo hot *_* i wish i could marry that man! *swoons*

*revives* but i refrained from purchasing anything at the moment and proceded to exit and walk around... finally found wayne! yay! then we walked around... found everyone else in a *gasp* cosplay/masquerade panel held by brian! it was a nice panel... heh heh... ^^; so glad he didn't use our angelic layer skit as an example... but he used dewprism and sara's angelic layer skits as good exmaples! yay! =p to lionel passing me notes! LOL then we realized it was about 3p... and we had to leave back to the room for rehearsal! ^_^

so back to the room we went... and all changed into morning coffee gear! we rehearsed a lot... and left back for the con.. ^^; we were a little late... should have been there at 4p... but arrived at about 4:15p... and saw the masq people lined up... no idea why... but we waited there... then found out we were supposed to return at 7:30p... we saw the inside... they let us practice on the equipment! yay! they used us to test it also... but we got live practice! yay! that was super nice and the best thing ever! they even marked off where we should stand! then told what time to return... we left to go take pictures!

and take pictures we did... O_O we took so many pictures! we took like a million pictures! most can be seen at USA Musume HP and under Al's RECCA-con report at cosplay.com! we took pictures all around the college campus... which just happened to be perfect that it was in a college since we looked like a bunch of school girls! ^.^

okie... so we finished taking pictures... went back to the masq are... and i got more food <_< cause i was super hungry... shoooe... then we waited for masq to start! and... then it started... and wayne was so awesome when he introduced us! "where did he get that coffee mug?" LOL and yay because we sounded good! the equipment was so wonderful! and the masq was short and sweet! and the crowd was very supporting. so the masq ends... then we walk around... get interviewed by the people with the video camera... and talk to people... it was really funny! some people asked me if we had a CD out ^^; so flattering! we took the O-HA pic! *laughs* and more school classroom pics! then we ran off to eat... cause we were super hungry!

yay to Applebee's! yummy food *_* Otome Pasuta ni Kando! that was sure some yummy pasta! plus we go to watch our performance on al's camera! super cool! happy because we sounded good! like the CD! ^^ happy happy! much better than fanime mics! yay yay! so we eat... ah... so satisfied... then i have a yummy apple dessert *__* so yummy! then off back to the room!

everyone showered and slept... bran crashed in our room since gary didn't need to rent a room again ^_^; watched some things on the computer... chobits episode 7! yay yay! but then O_O i got this giant allergy attack... and got congested like crazy... *talks nasal*... so annie and i switched beds with tiff and wayne... so i would be closer to free moving air ^^ took some dramamine... just so that i'd get sleepy... and finally... silence *_*

sunday!!! gah saturday was so long wasn't it? we did quite a bit for it only being a 2 day con! wake up... and tiff and i go to get food for everyone. it was around 10:10a or something... and bah... this lady gave us attitude... i wasn't sure if breakfast ended 10a or 10:30a... and instead of being nice and offering us the leftover food she acts all uppity... baaah... boo to her! so we go back to the room with food... eat... finish packing... call for late check out! the guys all leave to head back o so cal... and then yay! go swimming! tiff and i though, annie didn't have swim suit... and O_____O cold water! hee hee! we jumped in at first... cause it was so cold! we stayed in for maybe half an hour... but O_O got super tanned... even annie got a tan and she was sitting under the umbrella!

back to the room to shower and examine our tans ^^; hee hee then changed... and i turned into comfy nerdy yukino and tiff into the peace! kaori! annie stays annie and we check out via TV... and head to the con! gah this is so long! i simplify now... no more details!

back to con! eat! meet with Kie! take piccies near lake! dealer's room! buy DVDs... Ballistic Kiss, and Fists of Legend *_* yum! see little sara and her mom and find out they're showing Angelic Layer! watch the first 5-10 min of Angelic Layer ;_; but the con was closing!!!! so we had to leave! we meet with gary again and tiff leaves... and we stand outside kie and gary's cars... forever talking about momosu... then decide to eat! Marie Callenders near Kie's house! baaaaaad service!!!

then off to Kie's house to originally watch the Momosu musical... but we ended watching great music videos! Dream! Da Pump! Momosu *__* at Mr. Moonlight! hitomi... waaaaaaah! *__* i swoon! we then head back to gary's house! ;__; scary stories!

arrive at gary's house! change into sleeping clothes! play a little on gary's comp! hee hee... then finally sleep *_*

wake up next morning... shower! change! eat some pie! and head over to OAK airport! and make it just in time o_o

back home in so cal! yay! eat lunch with annie at thai specialty 2... don't know where 1 is... then off to work!

it's getting hot in here... so hot! so take off all your clothes!

... hot it is... hot it is!!! *melts* it's the stickiness that's the worst! not the heat... whatever... it's the gross... "i'm sweating cause it's hot, not cause i'm exercising" sweat! *falls over* ^^;;; i don't mind breaking sweat if i'm exercising... but because of heat is pretty icky... plus it makes you so tired... the heat makes me get dizzy... the humidity @_@

especially after teaching 3 children's classes in a row! -_- i thought master would come teach at least one children class... but he didn't... so tiring ^_^;;; i was going to get him to teach the 3rd class... but the kids all started begging me to teach them since he can be so hard on them... i was so tired, but i gave in and taught their class ^_^; *is such a sucker for children* hehehe... i still tortured them though ^^; they all left with super pink/red faces and soaked shirts =D

so tired!!! i feel so worn out... and it was not too bad today... it was just the heat that did it... luckily i drink so much water... (points to the 4 empty bottles)... i always drink at least 2 just at tkd o_o *is afraid of dehydration* ^_^;;;

i cut my hair. no, not too much... just a trim.

<_< i don't like it. the lady layered it... but the top layers are really short o_o they're like above my shoulder... makes my hair look weird O_O maybe it's just because she didn't blow-dry it the whole way... o_o i thought she would cut more from the bottom-back...

just the front and top were really cut... oh well... too late now right? bro says it looks longer than before since it's layered more... =\ i don't really like it. i'm almost tempted to go to get my hair cut again and just cut it all off! @_@

finals next week! waaaaaaah! there was a history study group yesterday at 4p... but work... there was another group today at 10a... but had to get to rey rey's house! rar... i wish i went to yesterday's... i heard there were lots of people who went ^^

i'm not in too bad shape with history... i did miss 1.5 weeks of class <_< after fanime and having the flu... but i've read up on sections and printed out the power point presentations from online. i just hope i do well on the final next week... @_@ ok! you'll think i'm a push-over, but i got As on the two midterms (60% of grade)... but rar *shakes a fist* i really don't want to screw up this grade and get a B by messing up this test! *flails arms*

today i took an aerobics kick-boxing class!!!

for those who have never taken one... i highly suggest it! yes. i do martial arts. and yes i love aerobics kick-boxing! ^^; it was so fun! i just love exercise in general! but yes! i got a much better workout from it than the dance aerobics class i took. i actually took two aerobics class today. one at 9-10a... then did a make-up class by taking the 10-11a class from my same teacher. ^.^

and seriously... i'd say i get bored during dance aerobics... maybe cause the workouts are as high-impact or intense as i'd like them to be =(

then i took the class afterwards... i was expecting another "dance aerobics" session... then she started telling the class on how today everyone will get their combinations perfect o_o i was thinking "waah?" o_o then she started talking about jabs and crosses and hooks... and i was all "ohhhh..." but still super confused since i was totally thinking of a plain aerobics class ^^; "jab-cross-jab-cross!" o_o cause at first i probably looked really semi-off and all like "whoa! that girl missed a lot of classes!" but after about 5 min or so i finally got into the swing of things... hee hee... and yay! i did well! it was really fun!

^^; i was a bit "irk" at the fact that everyone was doing their side-kicks wrong... but like they know the difference you know? ^^ i was being all perfectionist and needing to kick correctly... ^^; after the class was over one of the girls came up to me and asked if i took karate or something since i kick like all martial arts ^^ LOL i just told her i was on the wushu team at school. she was surprised since i think 99% of students don't know we have a wushu team <_< or know what wushu is... hehehe even my teacher was surprised that i caught on so quickly ^^ wai! happy! *is proud of herself* >_> especially since i was super fumbly in the beginning of class ^^

so that's my aerobics kick-boxing story! got try one out someday!!!

^.^ at school today though! i love my history class! my professor is the best! hee hee i had it after aerobics... luckily i had 40 min before class... so i bought food from togos, and borrowed my text books from the library reserve *has no money to buy books so makes xerox copies* >_> but yeah! class was so fun... after working out, resting, and listening to a fun lecture with a nice sandwich and bottled water =D

mmmmmm sounds good right now *__*

*flails arms* waaiiii! at school they have gorgeous japanese culture display in the libary! they have the most beautiful kimono and tea ceremony items *__* i was staring at the kimono forever LOL i looked like that guy from momosu's "love machine" video staring at maki! LOL

hmmmm oh! o_o at winmx... usually no one ever gets mp3s from me... but today like two people tried getting stuff from me! and both were for Billy and Chuck's theme -- "You look so Good to Me" O___O

ok... get ready for an exhausted rant... *takes a deep breath*

this time the rant is about "injuries." yes. "injuries." not injuries. "injuries." you have no idea how much i hate "injuries."

"instructor... my arm hurts." <---- that does not mean you cannot kick at tkd!
"i've reinjured my _____" <---- at least show up to practice so you can work out on the other parts of your body and learn techniques!

i don't know... ok. i understand, you've hurt yourself. but all the time? unless you've torn a ligament... or something that severe... call me harsh, but you're a pansy!!! pansy!!! what i can't stand is seeing all these young people in their early-mid 20s telling me about all their injuries. ok. you can tell me. it's a recurring injury? oh. it happens every week, so you can't come to practice for 2 hours out of the week? -_-; even to watch... come on now!

i'm not just some crazy slave-driver... but -_-... it seems the people that complain the most to me are the people who are kines majors. i'm not picking on any one inparticular... i know plenty... and what upsets me is that they "know" about injuries and stuff so they "know" what to do... ok that's good...

but i also think it also puts them into being "scared" mode... you know? cause they "know" what could happen... >_>

to me, it's like when you're a little kid and invincible... you can play in the rain for hours and not get sick! but when you're an adult... you wear 3 layers and are deathly afraid of being hit by the rain and somehow end with the flu if you're out for 5 minutes... <_<

i get hurt... i'm active, and i stay active... if there's pain... i work with it, don't push it too hard... because i don't want to get out of shape. gah i went to wushu practice and after donating blood! of course, i practiced until i started feeling dizzy... couldn't handle those double body turns... but i went and watched at least...

there are a few older students at my tkd... they're like 50+... and they love tkd. they rarely miss class. if they hurt themselves, they're out for like 2 days max. even if hurt, sometimes they come and do a slow class. it's just that they're 50 and have never majorly injured themselves. even if they do get hurt, they still want to practice. i admire them a lot since i hope i'm still like this when i'm their age.

ok ok, i don't even know what my point is... but "gah! stop being afraid and come practice! do something! anything! don't live life scared and not participate! it is so boring!"

<_< and what's even more upsetting is the people that "claim" to be injured, but have really just "fallen out" of their passion for an activity. if you have. tell me. "i don't like tkd anymore, i need something else." or "wushu is not a priority right now." don't tell me it's cause of the injury! *shakes fists*

but bestest was the shopping!!! hee heee... that's cause we found the cutest shirts!!! and also cool shirts! <_< plus i got a super cute bikini >_> *hides* it's white with red cherries all over it! it was soooo cute! @_@ okie... *coughs* back to the cool shirts!!! the one annie got had a giant 68 on it! and it had "i will survive" on the bottom! LOL it was a too cute shirt and she had to buy it! and then just on the other side of the rack... my shirt!!! "i <3 to make boys cry"... and in the heart/<3 had the "playboy bunny" symbol LOL! *points to her "i play boys" shirt* <_< it was too funny and i had to buy it! o_o at it being a total crop-top... stomach-action o_o i doubt i'll wear it anytime in public again! it's so skimpy!

we actually took card pics with them later on before the night ended at life plaza! hee hee... you can barely see the words, but i think you can make them out! i'll post them on monday, since i don't have a scanner at home ^^; and!!! eeee! i haven't mentioned it here yet... but!!!

hello! 9 times. you'd think the person would realize at least one of two things.

1 -- "oh, no one's picking up the phone. maybe they are online. i should leave a message, so i can tell them i will call again in 5 minutes."
or
2 -- "oh, no one's picking up the phone. i have tried calling 2x already. maybe no one is home, or they are all sleeping. it is past 10:30p. i should leave a message and try again tomorrow."

... but nooooooooooo... this person has to choose the option below. option 3.

3 -- "oh, no one's picking up the phone. i will be annoying, not leave a message, and call approx. every 5-15 minutes to see if they will answer. i'm sure that what i have to say is so important, i can't take half a minute to leave a voicemail to give a heads-up that i have something important."

if you are calling me... know that i only consider the call important if you leave a message or voice mail. means you at least have something to tell me and want me to contact you back.

calling 2x... is reasonable. if you call the first time, and decide to just call back in 5 min a second time... i will understand that. but! if after the 2nd call, you don't leave a message, i deem it UNIMPORTANT. if it is not worth your time to leave me a 30 second message, it is not worth my time. tell me tomorrow.

bah... even momosu is not getting me in good mood... i am also sad that tomorrow there is no practice with he jing de... next week at least... i need to work out this agression... someone needs to get beat up <_<

^^;;; anyways... wow, i feel strange! i was like super sick feeling earlier... i'm still feeling sick now... but nighttime is always so much better for me than daytime o_o

you know what it is though? it's that at nighttime is after teaching tkd. and teaching tkd means also practicing. and like... i taught for almost 5 hours today o_o yes... that long... no breaks... well 2 minutes in between classes to get a gulp of water... i taught 2 group lessons, and 3 private lessons. and i was actually thinking of telling him that i was feeling horridly sick today... ^^; oh well...

i feel totally better!!! i mean, i'm still sick, but my body feels like it's at least working now ^.^v all the blood pumpin pumpin and adrenaline rushing... you know?

let's see... first class, i was all snippy and um... mean ^^; hee hee... henry says his sifu gets like that when he's sick... hehehee... but that class went alright! second class... 8 student. and the class started out with the warmup. after the warm-up... "ok you guys. i'm sick. and that means i'm mean when i'm sick. do well today, and you won't be running laps for an hour." hee hee... well they were listening to me.. then they started slacking... and not putting power in their punches... so!!! 5 laps!!! heee hee... then they punched with power ^.^ then more kicks... running... then target kicking... then more running. finally a 2 minute break for water, then forms ^_^

then i thought i would get a break... then after sitting down for like 5 minutes... in the office, the kid who was supposed to come at 7p, came and i had to give him a private lesson @_@... then of course the 7p lesson came in... hee hee! he was funny though! this guy who was 27 and 6'... and he was like totally intimidated of me!!! *stares at 4'11" self* >_> he was all "could you kick my head if you wanted to?" he was cute though! well cute in that "don't hurt me!" way ^.^

then... i thought i could get off at 8p... so tired... but... i had to teach this little boy... OMG he was the cutest little chubby boy!!! he kept giggling everytime he messed up, but it was cute cause then he'd do it correctly. seems that the year before, he was in korea and learned taekwondo there... he's only 6 years old. ^_^ he's so cute too! ok... so i finally finished teaching him around 8:40p... then time to go home!!!

i was like super tired... cause private lessons mean you have to do everything with them, so they can imitate you... but i do feel worlds better ^^;

and after teaching the little cute boy... kevin... i totally realized how much i love martial arts... o_o i mean, it's so much part of my life... i've probably blogged about it sometime before... but today it really hit me. i mean, today i was feeling wretched... then althought tired and sick, i taught for almost 5 hours... and i feel better. i always feel brand new after practicing. sure i might feel a little beat up... but inside i feel really good.

^^; i am crazy. but yay! tomorrow is ballet and wushu practice... happy! =D

being sick is no fun. >_< i did not ditch school today... but i skipped it because i can't stand the coughing *coughs up a lung* o)_(o it seriously feels as though some of my insides are being turned inside out from all the coughing *cries* i should get someone to be my personal um... helper! then they could bring me tea, cook me soup, and talk to me... since my bro went out, there's no one to talk to in the house... except my grandma, but she's sleeping @_@

my right hand hurts. on the opposide of my right knuckle. i think i've hurt it from wushu. it always happens every once in a while when i slap my hand ^^;

all those front slap kicks during nanquan i bet! or the running jump front's... because inside slaps are fine. outside slaps are fine. actually o_o

my right hand just hurts now, and wants to be constantly popped/cracked/relieve pressure... it looks fine. *examines hands* looks the same. i don't think i've broken anything, probably just bruised or something. i haven't broken any bones yet. no time to start now. it should be better by tomorrow. yup! and ^_^;;; i don't like icing. i know, icing is good... but seriously, icing doesn't do much for me except numb the area? i rarely ice when injured... but then again, i haven't been injured so much...

jinx jinx... o_o knock on wood... *hits head on desk* but hm. hand hurts. still not getting in the way of anything. only pain is when i bend the middle finger toward my palm *pokes palm*

today was a "happy day!" yes!!! it actually started out semi bad ^^;;; aching body and sickness feeling... o__o and i had to go to teach class at tkd >_<

and alex got there like super early!!! *dies* so i taught him for like an hour... 10-11a... still feeling semi-sick and gross, but he was totally listening today, so it perked me up ^^;;; then i had a royal milky tea *___* so yummy... then the next class came in. 8 students not bad... only bad thing was the super-annoying-i-like-to-come-to-every-single-day-of-class kid... came... >_> but it was ok, cause i kicked him a bunch of times today and he was tamed a bit *evil smile* ^.^

he wouldn't run... when all the other kids were slaving and running... so i grabbed his hand, dragged him with me while i ran on the inside, and kicked him to run faster with my good right leg earlier! ^^; so he ran. then i taught a little bit. then i had them run again ^^; then i got tired of teaching... and since master wasn't there today... hehehe... we played an altered version of duck duck goose, except you don't do the duck-duck-goose part... ^^; it's easier to see it in person!

then i decided to go over forms and nit-pick on all their horrid "form"... <_< i love basics and stance work... *is a firm believer in perfect stances* o__o so i bugged each of them on their forms and told them if they didn't practice during free time, they'd run some more ^^; (and of course they were all sick of running by then) so they practiced. hee hee... then i saw a missed call from maryanne after answering the phone for some strange call o_o (wrong number weirdo...) soooo i talk to mary for about 5 minutes? hee hee... then go back for 5 minutes of class then end it ^^; yay i get to go home!

home... online... shower... to the mall! to buy spidy tix for the 8:30p showing!!! o_o it was 2:15p... and tix up to the 6:15p were sold out! o_o lucky i bought early! so off to wushu practice!!!

*glomps wushu family* waaaah! i've missed everyone so much! ^^; sure i see a handful of them MW... but i finally got to see karen, alex, miple, william... *could name forever* and all the goodness that is wushu!!! o___o the weirdest thing was i wasn't going to practice due to sickness... but i decided when i got there... "i'm going to practice, and sweat out sickness with good workout!" and o_o i was like doing super-good today!

hehehe the highlights of today were... the loudest slap on my right inside-slap kick o_o it was as loud as phil's! it was my first kick, and it was just "bam!" loud O__O i was so shocked because it didn't hurt my hand at all, and everyone was like "whoa kimi!" even i was like o__o "OMG where did that come from?" heehheehehehe 2nd highlight was my jump-front kick o_o i have no idea, but i can somehow now, kick above my waist! i'm getting some hops with that kick! plus! i can totally land on my right leg all of the time =D now to just get that 2nd lift! ^^;;; 3rd! my butterfly... well, it still sucks, but it's getting there! and i think i'm finally getting the principle of the jump-outside kick @_@ i really need to practice! but practice was so awesome today!

i got so into it... and cold-sweated most of my fever out! by the end of practice, i barely felt sick =D and the bestest thing happened while doing wonderful stance work! *loves basics* <_< hehehe... homan came in and announced... woody is coming with he jing de!!! o___o *dies* hee hee... so of course... susan, karen, thao, and i were screaming like the wushu fangirls we are! "OMG he jing de!!!" the "tasmanian devil" of nanquan *___* hee heeeeeeeeeeeee! *dies* o_o he's so super cool!

so we had a little q&a with he jing de *__* woody and phil were acting as translators... hee hee... *__* karen and i couldn't stop staring at his arms o_o and he dresses cool too! hee hee... like stylish-cool ^.^ and o_o i never noticed him having an earring! i guess he takes it off for wushu ^^; *nods* hee hee... it was so funny because we asked how many crunches he does to get his stomach... he says just 200x a night! just 200 every night o_o no other stomach exercises!!! i guess also just the wushu practices... but @_@ i've felt his stomach *melts* at berkeley... and OMG it's seriously a brick wall!!! hee hee!

karen and i later (after all the questions were finished) to flex his arms since we were staring at them the entire time... waaaah!!! *___* sugeeeeeeeeeee! hee hee! he even flashed us his brick wall stomach!!! LOL! karen and i were totally melting of course! but the funniest part was when susan, karen and i were staring at the mirror together about 5 feet away from he jing de, talking about how we're gonna start doing 200 crunches a night and were flashing out tummy's to the mirror and patting them saying "yup... 200 crunches"... LOL!!! then we realized that he jing de was looking at us and smiling! *dies* LOL then everyone was staring at us since we had our tummy's showing and were all embarassed! i think phil and woody thought we were crazy ^^;

then ^^;;; even though it was so wonderful being near he jing de... ;_; i had to leave! but leave to a good place! but still leave!!! so i was saddened yet happy... and LOL phil and karen were like pushing me to give him a hug, but i was totally embarassed and turned totally red =^^= you guys know how shy i get!!! *pokes annie* hee hee hee you know how shy i get! XP so i get him a half hug... then got embarrassed, said bai to everyone, then proceeded to run away ^^;;; hee hee

but it was ok! cause i got to run away home to annie!!! >_< cause there was traffic on the 60W on my way home @_@ so i got off of fairway *dies* such bad traffic for a saturday! o_o but i finally got home!!! then changed into rika costume =D then wayne-sama came! took piccies, changed out into normal clothes... hee hee 'i play boys'... and o___o at nono having a playboy bunny logo shirt!!! ok ok so about 7:20p...

and off to see spidy!!! wai!!! and LOL at me!!! so clueless sometimes ^^;;;

spidy was such a good movie!!! i actually wouldn't mind seeing a 2nd time o_o since it was done so well! and yes, jason was right, then 2nd half of the movie was very comic-book-esque... but it was ok =D i liked it! but the bestest parts... i won't spoil... hehehee... very beginning!!! cute cute peter parker as a high school wimp!!!! *hugs peter* ;_; people are so mean!!! he's so cute!!!

o_o he hella gets yoked up!!! *remembers all the wushu guys talking about it when it first was being advertised heavily* LOL *__* at his eight pack!!! today was a nice day for nice tummy's =D first he jing de, then toby maguire!!! hee hee hee

tgifridays!!! yup! wayne, annie, and i ate there after the movie =D and o____o the booth seat i sat on... broke!!! i was all "eeee! O_O" because the seat was moving unstable... so we got out... then this guy came by and "fixed" it... but it was still semi-broken o_o i don't know why they were so hesitant to sit us at the other open booth... they actually were originally trying to seat us at a table... bleh >_<

yummy yummy tummy's full! soooo... we go to my house to watch fanime 02 video! well just our angelic layer skit and the usa musume skit! o_o the mics seriously needed to be louder! you couldn't hear henry say his line... and during usa musume, you could barely hear us the first half of the performance!!! ^^;;; it looked okie, after a while, the mics picked up and it was better =D

then to watch the agsma ax01 "moon sync" skit! the best skit ever! LOL! then we watched the agsma "mononoke mountain" skit! which is personally my favorite agsma skit! ^^;;; 2nd is probably moon sync hehehehe okie... *finished editing rika pics* and shoulder feeling sore again ^^;;;

shoe... sleepy time!!! hopefully tomorrow i'll feel 100% happy day again! today was so much fun!!! can't wait for it to happen again!

yay! i got all my materials for my masquerade costume today! ^_^v heh heh... now only a week to work on it! yay in keeping cosplayer tradition of waiting until the last week ^^;;;

wayne-sama and i went to the fabric district again today! hee hee... super cool as last time! and we found lots of fabric at good prices! ^^; i spent about um... o_o i don't know... $40? about... something like that! more or less... and we had el pollo loco... >_< it wasn't too bad... cause i don't eat fast food... but so hungy!!!

i got home a little after 3p... and went to wushu late ^^;;; but i told them i'd be late!!! wushu practice was tough... but i really need to work on my jump inside fall! o_o wu bin is coming to our class monday morning!!! he might bring he jing de!!! *screams* hehehehehe

susan, karen and i ate some yummy phö after class. ^_^ we discussed wushu stuffs and everything! they also gave me advice about what i should do at fanime... *bops herself* >_< stop being stupid!!! heheheh... karen and i went to brea mall after and bought underwear ^^;;; hehehe at banana republic... hey! it was only $4.99 for a bra! and $4.99 for underwear! it was a cute comfy looking set, so we had to buy it ^^;;; then we went to robinson's-may and bought make up!!! *shakes fist* i spent like $38... it was $22.50 for the free gift >_< and i needed an eyebrow pencil... and that was $18.50... gah... $4 more... but of course they ran out of pencil sharpeners and facial papers... so i ended up buying this pretty pretty eye-shimmer stuff... $16.50 more... but it's cool... i can use it for my rika costume! it matches!

then karen and i came to my house and changed... we decided we wanted to see "the sweetest thing" with cameron diaz, christina applegate, and selma blair... *plugs*... and that is such a chick-flick. ^^;;; made us both super-giddy, and super happy... and both "hating" the movie since we loved it so much. actually, i was the one "hating" the movie... gah... it totally makes you want to just:

stop being stupid and take a chance or a good oppertunity might just pass you by.

i got korean bbq *drools* and i got my hya shirt! let me tell you girls that have buff arms like me... if you're going to order a baby-tee... i'm sure i can fit a small, but i bought a medium just in case it shrinks... but the medium's _sleeves_ pinch a bit tight at the bottom... but that could also be my buff arms *flexes*

hee hee... i look so tired in the first picture. for those who can't recognize me... i'm the little girl in front of the black bag in the very front row, right. ^^; i overslept and didn't even have time to fix my hair like last competitiong o_o the 2nd picture is us with He Jing De!!! *swoons* omg he has mad skillz. he is the man. everyone knows he is the man of nanquan. the man opened up with a 720 twist! ok, for almost the entire world outside of wushu... it's like "ok, whatever..." but o_o i am officially a He Jing De fangirl. he's in the very middle of the picture in the pink/magenta silk. you KNOW someone has the mad skillz in wushu if they wear a pink silk! XD seriously. if you see a dude in a pink silk... just know he's got mad skillz cause it craves attention, so you best pay attention!

tired o___o i've been working on cosplay today

i know! o_o it's been so long... i haven't really worked on it the past two weeks... but my jade pjs are 100% fully done ^^; i wore them at berkeley actually to sleep =D they're comfy! and make me look even more like i'm 12 o_o *points to the retainer and pink pjs* ^^; now if i have time... i'll make the pink little booties she wears o_o or whatever you call them...

i'm back home! wai! finally o_o just finished unpacking everything and washing my face. ^_^

it was so fun! i'm really lazy to give a full report... so i'll just give the "important" part

1st place women's beginner changquan (long fist)
2nd place male _and_ female beginner nanquan (southern fist)

yes o_o why male and female? because i just happened to be the only girl competing in beginner's women nanquan! o_o i thought i was competing against another girl... but -_- she ended being in intermediate level... ;_; had i known, i would have competed in intermediate women's, since i would have rather competed against another girl... but it's ok... since they say that i kicked all the other guy's butts... except miple! *shakes a fist* he beat me out of 1st place by 0.03 points!!! ^^;

but it's ok! it was just so fun!

the master's demo o_o i am officially a he jing de fangirl! heh heh... i got to touch his abs! wah! i have never felt such rock hard abs... o_o i swear it's like rocks... *dies* and no, i didn't just go up and feel on him ^_^;;; phil's actually his god-brother, so he introduced us to him, and told me to touch his abs. then i said i didn't want to, but phil took my hand and made me feel them *__*

hee hee... *screams* he's so cool!!! during the master's demo he started off with a 720 o_o and omg his doublt broadsword... it's so fast!!! *_______* other faves of the master's demo... well, everything except maybe taiji, since i don't fancy it too much... ^^; hee hee the monkey guy was cool! so was the little kid who did drunken style =D

and the afterparty was fun ^^; i won't say exactly how it went, since everything's so blurry... but i had a really nice time ^_^v

and >_< i wasn't able to look for the guy jason! o_o at the competition there was no time to talk to people... and at the afterparty... i didn't want to talk to too many people... ^_^; just a select few

hee hee =D didn't get a chance to go online yesterday or friday night! but friday was super cool! i was really tired from wushu ^^; and really hungry by the time i was done with tkd!!! i came home, and was waiting for tiff to call... and she said she would be at AI around 10:30p-11p... so i was guessing more around 10:45p or later ^^;

i came online and then i talked to wayne-sama =D yay! he picked me up and we went to eat pho at the plaza near vons ^.^ it was really yummy... *__* about um... 10:35 we went to life plaza to kill time and look at cute stuff! pucca!!! i love pucca!!! ^__^ she's so cute!!! hee hee... i bought one of those kappa-chan/tadpole? stationary and we looked at momosu cds! o_o danielle... how did she ever get into momosu? ;_; i should be in there since she was able to! ^^;;; ok ok...

hee hee while looking at stationary, tiff called me! i told her i was at life plaza looking at cds ^.^ then i got off the phone! then i remembered i should have told her i was with wayne... then wayne's phone rang! so wayne had me answer it... ^^;;; i hit the wrong button at first, and hung up... o_o but she called again! so i answered it =D and it was funny ^^ hee hee...

i wish i was in shape!!!

hee hee... i know! "kimi you are in shape!" =p if i was, i wouldn't be so sore right now... and actually this whole week! i've gotten my butt whooped so much! actually i've worked out so much i'm super sore o_o

i'm afraid i'll have legs like chun li!!! heh heh... although that'd be pretty cool... but i wouldn't want 95% of my body weight to be my legs =p

competition in a week!!! one week away!!! next week at this time, i'll be at berkeley! o_o well... time to see if all this nanquan training has worked out... ^^; i'm much more confident in my southern than my long fist! i know! and i've been working on my long fist since july!!! i just started _really_ training on my nanquan in december! i'm excited! i hope i do well!

i'd really want to show that our school has cool girls! ^^; none of the other girls are competing... ;_; they decided they weren't ready and both are just coming to watch and not compete... =( and my southern sister is injured @_@

i hope that it will end out alright! i really want to do well in my nanquan ^.^ i sort of want to show that phil is a super cool teacher! cause he is! number 1 in the u.s. for nanquan... just watching him is helpful ^.^ too bad he's not competing =(

^^; what else would i be watching as of late? actually!!! it's more of a "trigger-happy" movie than a martial arts movie! there are some parts with martial arts... but it's kept at a very minimum...

it's such a good movie!!! well i liked it!!! it reminds me a lot of "the killer"... you know, (john woo directed and chow yun fat)... although this is starred and directed by the hottieness of donnie yen!!! it's so sad!!! it left me thinking so much!!! it's really one of those "messed up" movies... like "the killer"... ah... "the killer" was so good!!! i enjoyed its message ^_^

anyways... rent it!!!

yay i'm not sick anymore!!! well in the mornings and late night i'm still congested... but no more icky icky feeling of weakness ^^... so yay!!! *cheers*

ou i didn't write about sunday night bowling!

ehee hee... but i had a really low score o_o like a 50? or something... ^^;;; i usually average mid-80s... heh heh... but i was using this super heavy 13 lb ball... ;_; and it when we finally got me an 8 lb ball... it had already thrown off my whole game o_o i had like a million gutterballs... hee hee to them saying that i was scoring better with the 13 lb ball.. ^^;;; noah and rey rey totally kicked matto-kun's and my butts!!! they got like 110? ^^; *dies* i'll get you next time =D

but! all was well cause... we stopped by marie calendar's afterwards and got a... *cues music* strawberry pie!!!

yummi yummi!!! *eats all of it* ^^ hee hee... well not all of it =D but matto-kun, noah and i were eating it! rey rey wasn't in the mood... poor strawberry pie!!! *eats more of it so it'll feel better* =D

then we talked about wrestling... and um... stuff! yes... that's it... *can't remember*

but it was "super cool" fun! =D

and now... this week is "super cool" fun because i have wushu practice every morning ^.^ that makes this week the best! too bad i can't have wushu practice every day like this... i'd be super good then ^^; and eee ^^ my legs feel super heavy right now... like not "sore"... since they're not sore, but they feel so heavy to lift!!! we did conditioning yesterday... and today we did sprints after doing full sets of forms... but it's fun =D

berkeley competition april 13th... 9 days left... and leaving on the 12th... 8 days 'til i'm up there o_o

need to lose weight!!! *diets* i'm on a diet right now =p actually... health food fest!!! i'm eating fruit like crazy and cutting out all the good... err... fatty foods ^^; well, anything that's extra kilocalories... ;_; and i have 2 boxes of porute in my bedroom... and i'm craving chocolate cake and chocolate brownie ice cream from rite aid *__*

that and milky tea!!! eeeeeee!!! *dies*... rather... *diets* ^.^v

ahhh... wednesday already? my vacation is flying by so fast! at least i'm almost over this sickness, flu, cough! @_@ that is the best part of vacation! actually... the best part is that i have wushu practice in the mornings 10a-12p ^.^ *hugs hugs*

exercise is the fountain of youth! =p okok! heh heh to jason... i am not a male richard simmons! i'm better! *flexes* lol but phil ( from tkd ) and i were talking about how everyone we know that does martial arts looks way young... and how they're in good shape! but just athletes in general! they can jump higher, run faster, work harder... *__* hee hee

seriously though, when i'm sick, if i exercise and work up a sweat through tkd or wushu... i feel so much better! i get hot and build adrenaline... i need oxygen, so everything opens up for me... it's easier for me to breathe! especially when i'm so congested as i have been the past few days. the coughing is the worst, but when i exercise, i don't cough so much.

right now, i'm feeling really good. so good mix! and i'm in a really happy mood! ^^; ( have i been saying that enough lately? ) today we did conditioning, leg lifts... and hee hee "sitting"... you know, when you act as though you're sitting on a chair, but are against the wall... ( 1 minute squats 5x )... the 2nd one is painful... but by the 5th one, i couldn't feel it so much... heee ^^;

and wah! william is so good! 3 years of practicing wushu and being 15 is such a good combination! i wish i started wushu when i was younger! tkd is great, when i think about it, i was pretty kick-butt in tkd back when i was 15... but since i'm concentrating on wushu now... well, too late right? just gotta concentrate on what i have now... and work with it! ^_^v

it's about time i ended this for now... but exercise is my friend! the combination of wushu, water, eating healthy, zinc cough drops, and sleeping at 12a made me get better ^.^

oh, and soup plantation is the bomb! hee hee... their salad's pretty good ^.^

prelude -- woke up at 9a... went to tkd 9:30a... watched like the first 30 min of yugioh... ;_; then alex came at like 10:23a... so i missed the very ending!!! *dies* anyways... was feeling sick, taught alex until 11a... went to togos, bought a sandwich... #3... turkey and cheese and a chocolate cake... feeling sick, so =O kimi = not hungry!!! *dies* and i only ate like 1/2 of the chocolate cake o_o ( you know i'm sick when i don't finish chocolate cake ) taught class at 12p-1p then drove over to the la mirada theatre!

okie back!!! it's actually april 1st right now! and i must finish this entry!

so... where was i....? ah! la mirada theatre! for the VSA culture night demo!!! yup!!! "photasia!" basically... a vietnamese version of "charlie and the chocolate factory" except without chocolate and revolving around... pho! yummy!

while i was driving over there... my cell phone rang! mini moni telephone o rin rin rin! and it was karen! she didn't know how to get there... so i picked her up at school ^_^ i actually was right about to drive pass it too! so i pickied up karen, and we drove together to the theatre! we were both super tired and wanted to nap... plus she was really hungry, so i gave her half of my togo's sandwich ^.^ they had lots of pastry goodies... so we grabbed a lot in a box... we sat down and watched rehearsal... and then yuck! ;_; the pastries weren't so yummy... there was a very gross coconut one... *cries* susan, karen and i felt sick then...

we changed into wushu clothes mode... and @_@ i was feeling sick... yup... well i was sick... and i'm always worst in the mornings when i first wake up. really congested and coughing @_@... so we warmed up and ran through our basics scene few times, then went up on stage for a rehearsal... then yay break time! *really wanted to rest* so we were resting... and waiting for our 2nd scene rehearsal... and waiting... and hungry... and craving pho.. since they kept talking about it... *dies* and just hungry!

susan, karen, and doug went to get us some taco bell *dies*... and i just ordered some nachos and cheese... since i don't like taco bell... and we were still waiting... eeee.. then time ran out! and we didn't have a chance to do our scene rehearsal... cause it was already 6p... and they had to set up... and at 6:30p, people started to show up... o_o

so we waited... wow the day went by... our first scene happened... we had a little mess up... it wasn't me though! the two behind me doing the palm strike/heel kick... looked like they were goose stepping and got off sync... so people thought they were trying to be funny and laughed... ^^ oh well... no biggie... o_o i was a bit embarassed... so i tried to make it up when i did my nanquan form! i zoned out while doing it... so i couldn't tell if people were cheering or not, but they told me they were *flails arms in the air* yay! i hope! i'll wait until it's on video!

so.. we're waiting for our 2nd scene... dalat is changing... into the beastly-woman form... o_o and we all change into our power rangers/kids incorporated t-shirts... *dies* i had a pink t-shirt and i looked like i was part of kids incorporated o_o LOL so i put some puffy balls in my hair and i looked 12! heh heh... i had to also remember not to prance on stage... ^^; wearing that outfit made me automatically want to prance and sing!

2nd scene... o_o we didn't know what to do! we were all "when do we go on? when when?" since we split up into two groups o_o remember... we didn't get a chance to rehearse this! so i bugged the guy with the script sitting there so i could figure out when we go on... hee hee i heard we ran out too early also! LOL and we ran the wrong way out! but it turned out ok! it was a comedy =p basically... we were the "wushu loompas" and we had to beat up this girl... who ate the magic "pho" and turned into her "beastly inner beauty"... and the beastly inner beauty was dalat in a dress and wig ^.^ my part was easy! and i'm the one who got to defeat her/him! i finished it with the johnny cage "do the splits and punch the crotch" move! ^_^v

then we were done with our part! karen and i changed back into normal clothes... rather... i changed into karen's normal clothes... LOL i put on some clothes that shouldn't be worn together... then i got stuck... hee hee... it was funny ^^; then later the play ended... everyone was on stage... got flowers... got cheered for... then! it was finished! karen and i were super-craving pho by then... and really tired

since karen and i rode together... we were sitting in my car... waiting for everyone else. we heard that we'd get a free meal if we waited and hung out with everyone else... we were going to meet at a pho place in westminster...o_o i know... westminster when we're in la mirada... but it was this 24 hour pho place... or something...

karen and i were getting restless and super hungry... and they were taking forever... so we said we were going to go ahead, then dalat said they were going... so... "go straight beach blvd... then turn left bolsa. it's on your left hand side about 2 streets down" o_o omg... it took forever to get to bolsa!!! ;_; karen and i were super hungry too... when we finally got to bolsa, we passed by 2 pho shops that were open... @_@ and when we finally got to the one we were supposed to go to... the place was so full!!! and we were in such a huge party... we had to wait a long time ;_; so karen and i were cold and hungry... and getting sad since we were so close to pho, yet so far!!!

we finally decided we were going to leave and get pho on our own at one of the places we saw on the way there. we walked in... and the floor was sticky, and full! but the waiter guy told us to sit down "over there" and we had to walk pass this big group of "mafia" guys to get to our table. and o_o we felt as though they were staring at us... and they were... o_o we didn't have menus so we kept looking right to catch the waiter, but then one of the guys from the table would look at us and it'd be like .o O ( i'm not looking at you! ;_; ) then we'd put our heads down and stare at the table ^^;;; finally the waiter guy came and we ordered yummy pho and egg rolls!!! one of the guys at the table talked to us and asked what "team" we were on, since we were wearing our wushu jackets... and karen said "kung fu martial arts team"... then all the guys started going "ohhhhh" really loud and we stared at the table even more o_o *dies* we were saying how sad we were, and what a sad episode this is for us ^^; finalyl! the guys left and we got our food! and it was so yummy! hee hee we didn't even finish half of it, but we were really happy!

then off to drop karen to her truck, i dropped by video 94 to return a video for her, then went home and fell asleep! z__Z

as i will now ^^;;; i will write about my adventures in bowling tomorrow morning... ish late now =D it's 11:39p!

zinc cough drops!!! heeee the secret to getting better. i will buy some after school today to ensure that i get well soon. ^.^ i need to make sure i get all my essential vitamins and nutrients while sick, so that i will have a strong enough force to kill off the cold! *shakes a fist at midterms* ;_; everyone is sick, but midterms so people like me go to school anyways... even when sick @_@ so all the healthy people get sick...

lucky i'm not too sick! just feeeling weak... o_o need to get better by saturday... demo saturday night... but will be rehearsing all saturday... and i'm getting there late at 1:30p!!! rehearsal is from 9a - 7p... and we go on at 7p... i honestly don't know why they need us there the entire day... *ponders*

cosplayer tests... o_o very strange indeed... i found the one on matto-kun's blog... o_o very strange indeed... rey rey was telling me about the last night... after taking one... o_o it's very over-generalizing... cause it's like _real_people_! not just a character in anime... or a class of person in tactics.... or the different sides of nicole kidman o_o maybe if they did something like "which costume of cosplayer are you?" that would make a bit more sense... o_o

makes me think of cosplay! something i need to start next week... since spring break is next week! i would start this weekend but @_@ since this is demo weekend saturday ( =/ i can't go to anime jungle )... and sunday will be wushu-related too... need to run full sets with people... competition is april 13th! o_o...

totemo isogashiiiiiiiiii ^^;... but i'd rather have it no other way! as matto-kun and i were talking about yesterday... it gets way too boring when you're not "busy"... there are times for relaxation... but too much, then i just get lazy and seditary... heh heh... ah, the life of a sloth *foams at the mouth*

today was shoe fun ^_^

@_@ that i missed JCA and yugioh due to whack times today o_o... i thought JCA was supposed to be on at 9a... but it was pokemon johto... o_o i got to tkd at 9:30a and watched x-men rerun... =\ that i missed yugioh... cause -_-; it's on during the time i teach at 10a!!! ;_; at the new time changes... then i saw commercials today saying new different times for next week @_@ *dies*

but besides that! wushu was super fun! i went through 3 full sets... one set of changquan and 2 of nanquan... and yay! i'm finally starting to feel the "nanquan" rhythm! but o_o i'm still supre uncomfortable with the yelling... >_< i need to get over it... but @_@ *dies at self-conciousness* it's embarassing to be loud o_o plus that would gather everyone's attention, and i couldn't want everyone to be watching me... although that would be a good thing, meaning that i was able to capture their attention!

^^; but still... a good practice! then came home, took a quickness shower, changed and got ready... then wayne-sama picked me up and we met up with some wushu people to eat at supreme dragon restaurant! yummy food ^.^ hee hee...

then we stopped by nijiya market, so i could buy 3 boxes of porute! then off to the movie theatre to buy tickets... @_@ that the 8p showing of blade 2 was sold out! so we bought tickets for the 9:55p showing! it was almost 8p... so off to marie calendar's for mini strawberry pie! actually, it was quite a large yummy looking pie! so we went to my house to eat the pie! and also to wait until 9p to go to the theatre to find seats... and we were watching figure skater... ^^; we feel bad for that lady whose last name is "slutskaya"... ^^; hee hee... so about 8:50p, we headed back to the theatre!

o_o omg the line was shoe long! just to get into the theatre... o_o for blade ii? i know! it was about 9:40p when they finally let people in... we got there at 9p... o_o because there were so many people! and surprisingly, many were teenagers and people in their 20s... not to mention asian teenagers... oh well, who else would watch such a vampiric violent movie except teenagers and people in their 20s?

and the movie isn't as bad people make it seem. it's actually quite good in my opinion! even with the bias that donnie yen has a small role in it... *melts* donnie yen!!! i was sad that he didn't have very big of a role... he played "snowman", a "vampire-hunter"... meaning, he's a vampire, and a hunter! but he's trained to hunt wesley snipes/blade! he's a "good" vampire and is part of the team that allies with blade to kill the "super vampire"... enough plot! more about donnie!

eeeeee he's so super cool!!! i have to pay a little tribute to him on my blogger!!! so it's at the end of this entry ^__^

shoe! wayne-shama and i both like like the movie lots!!! two thumbs up from me... i was entertained ok? would have been one thumb... but it had donnie yen, and he did all the choreographing... so the extra thumbs is just for him ^.^ ok ok, enough about donnie! so, me gets dropped off home, go to clean up and get changed... then bro comes home and steals the comp ;_; i wanted to blog, so i waited until he was off... and then decided to search for donnie yen pics! of course i already have some... but i needed some of him from blade 2 ^.^

graw... -_-;;; i just found out today that april 12-14, my master is going to be in oregon... and i need to run the studio... the thing is...

i'm going to be at berkeley that time for wushu competition... he doesn't know i do wushu, so i told him that i'm probably going up north that weekend for a family trip. -_-;;; he said "cancel." WTF?

i even told him it's a "family trip". anyways, i just said today that i'd talk to my parents and tomorrow tell him that they bought plane tickets and can't cancel. whatever. the studio will just have to close for the weekend. it's not my life. it's not going to run my life and have my ruin plans. i sacrifice enough for my master, with weekends and everything, and i still get paid a very sad pay check. it's so hard to save money with what i get -_-

on a good note... after tkd, i met up with vincent and we ate at tokyo lobby =D yay! that one cute waiter guy was there! i should drag susan and karen with me one day to show them... ^^; see if they think he's cute! LOL vince and i talked about wushu and the berk comp coming up... i can't wait! i don't think i'm ready, but there's always room for improvement!

things i need to improve -- nanquan rhythm... i need more of the jagged-quick tempos and pauses -- my rhythm is too longfist and flowy still... i think it was better before, but working on my long fist now... ^^;;; shame on me, i shouldn't get confused like this @_@

jump kicks -- butterfly kick. my kick is one butterfly with broken wings... jump inside-fall. haven't practiced it in almost a month @_@ i don't want to land and break my arm

Heh heh... today was Wreslemania X8!!! Here are my past predictions and the results... cut and pasted from my report from HYA board! ^.^ i seriously haven't had so much fun watching wrestling in a long time. storylines have been boring, and matches uninteresting... but today's Wrestlemania turned everything around for me.

first off... for all of you guys that missed it... boo to you!!! The Rock vs. The Hulkster... was way awesome. Best Match I've seen in the past 2 years, for realz. That totally has addicted me back to watching wrestling. a nice trip to rey rey's, hanging with jean, bran, and bringing susan with me... wrestling is fun again ^_^ i only wished my bro was there to see the Edgerooni ^.^

resident evil!!!! the movie!!!

zombies O_O are scarier in this movie then compared to the game

wow... this movie actually gets a 2 thumbs up from me ^.^ i know, you're thinking

... c'mon... kimi, what are you thinking? it was directed by Paul Anderson, the dude who did Mortal Kombat, not the dude who did Night of the Living Dead... it has cheesy dog kicking martial arts... it's just a chicks with guns flick, and it should have just been based strictly on the game, since movies always go to hell when they don't stay very close to the game...

however! the only exception to "movies going to hell when they don't stay very close to the game"... is Mortal Kombat! The first movie was really good, and the 2nd movie sucked only due to the fact that it was a different director. and after watching the movie... every doubt i had was kicked away, as that dog was kicked in the movie ^.^

milla jovovich and michelle rodriguez are too cool! well milla jovovich is just awesome, and michelle rodriguez... as matto-kun put it, is hot and angsty ^.^ hee hee, i love how pissed she is though ^_^ and matto-kun especially loved it! hee hee

but seriously... RE fans, should, must, watch this movie to support it. it was made really well.

matto-kun and i both enjoyed it a lot! and we had yummy food from tgifridays... yay to mini strawberry shortcake! not quite a pie, but still yummy *__* hee hee

ok! besides that!!! today was such a happy day!!! even just being at work/tkd, and wushu was so happy feeling. i couldn't help but smile the entire day. wushu was fun, we ran full sets of forms, since competition is coming up, and my long fist (changquan) is starting to come together again... but at the same time, my nanquan is suffering... now that i've got my long fist back, my nanquan is beginning to look as though it has flavor from my long fist. funny, since before when my long fist was really bad, my southern rhythm was really fine... i guess i just have to learn how to balance both and be able to switch.

on the subject of wushu... donnie yen is hot!!! i can't wait for blade ii to come out!!! *dies* i will swoon and swoon cause he is too too cool!!! donnie yen *__*

and yay to wayne-sama sending me more jade pics!!! *hugs hugs* ^.^ jade is the coolest!!! and =O i can't believe what's going on in yugioh so far!!! O_O how can kaiba and mokuba be related ^^;;; i kept wondering that, cause kaiba is just too cool and cute, while mokuba looks like a little caveboy with untamed hair O_O

off to walmart to buy spraypaint at a wow! $0.87 price and a push pop for me! and when we got outside... >_> 3 boxes of girlscout cookies... heh heh...

home time again... watched JCA and sanded the pvc stuff down ^^; took a bit of work... but no "sewing" shoe was ok! we also were watching real world, and then figure skating... o_O at the massive buff japanese girl.. and :( to the cute japanese girl who got low scores, but had a nice presentation... she got 2nd at least! and *_* those korean fans are so pretty... they were showing aspects of south korea... and wow... the traditional hand-made fans are wow!

then wayne-sama went home, and i went to church. and now here i am. waiting for mom to finish cooking and then off to finish sewing jade PJs! after that... it's homework time... chemistry and history ^^; at least i like both classes
